Quality Cancer Care for Life Act

With inspiration from Back in the Swing, United States Congressman Dennis Moore, (Third District, Kansas) is sponsoring a groundbreaking bill, The Quality Cancer Care for Life Act ,H.R. 5560, that will fund education, research and programs in the emerging field of personalized, integrative cancer survivorship healthcare. The Congressman has worked closely with Barbara Unell, Founder and Executive Director of Back in the Swing, to address the issue of survivorship and post-treatment care.
“Survivorship is an often overlooked step in the lifelong journey of a cancer patient,” Congressman Moore said. “It is my sincere hope that this provides some relief for those who meet the challenges of such a process head on - it’s simply the right thing to do.”
