Land of Paws was founded in 1993 by veterinarians Dr. Mark Daly and Dr. George Gates and their wives, Patty Daly and Pam Gates. Land of Paws is developing their first proprietary line of products to build awareness for breast cancer survivorship and support Back in the Swing, under the new brand "Molly's Paws". The line incorporates a unique pink ribbon design to honor the memory of Molly, the Westie who belonged to Back in the Swing founder Barbara Unell and her family. Molly is the "faithful companion" on Back in the Swing's communications, just as she was the faithful friend to her family for over 15 years, with her eager smile and happy zest for life that helped Barbara get "back in the swing" after breast cancer. The line will be sold online at LandofPaws.com and at pet retailers around the country, and will encourage playing and caring for pets as a proven way to get back in the swing after breast cancer! Proceeds of sales will benefit Back in the Swing.
